 Sherri Johnson Wilson, DNP, MPA, CDP®, RN, FADLN, FAAN 

 Dr. Sherri Johnson is a nationally recognized leader in workforce innovation, healthcare, and education. As Director of Partnership Development at Stride, Inc. (NYSE: LRN), she supports over 60,000 middle and high school students nationwide—building academic and career pathways that connect young people to meaningful futures in healthcare, public health, and beyond. 

With over 25 years of experience as a nurse leader, strategist, and educator, Dr. Johnson brings a deep commitment to advancing equitable access to opportunity. She founded The Johnson Consulting Group in 2014 to advise nonprofits, academic institutions, and health systems on workforce development strategy, healthcare program design, and data-informed policy initiatives. She also founded The Institute for Health and Social Equity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing health disparities by expanding workforce diversity in nursing, public health, and STEM fields through scholarships and mentoring. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Johnson has contributed to major policy efforts, including serving on a Delaware Lt. Governor’s Task Force for Health Disparities, a Virginia Governor’s Maternal Mortality Strategic Planning Committee, and co-moderating with Senator Tim Kaine at the Best Practices for Treating Long COVID Summit in Richmond, Virginia. 

Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hampton University, a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy from Seton Hall University, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Midwifery from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She is a 2022 Education Policy Fellow with the Institute for Educational Leadership in Washington, D.C. 

She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the National Black Nurses Association, and several other organizations committed to advancing nursing leadership and diversity. In recognition of her contributions, Dr. Johnson was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing in 2023 and a Fellow of the Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing of the National Black Nurses Association. 

Dr. Johnson is also the author of I See You: A Faith-Based Guide for Emerging Leaders, scheduled for release in June 2025.
